The seminar Exchange of good practices took place in February in Sofia, Bulgaria, as part of the project Work Based Learning – the entrance to the professional future, funded by the European Union, through the Erasmus+ Program, Strategic partnerships in the Youth sector.
The project is a partnership between 8 organizations from countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, Poland, Italy and aims to increase youth employability by promoting international learning opportunities in the vocational sector.
The seminar of good practices in the field of vocational training of young people was attended by 3 representatives from each partner organization.
During this meeting, there were discussions and presentations focused on VET and WBL activities in the educational partnerships within the participating organizations. The specific and common problems encountered in the VET sector were presented, but also the needs and solutions applicable to the VET sector were highlighted for a better implementation of these projects.
Following this seminar, a comprehensive report was released, containing examples of good practice and proven techniques for bridging sectors to provide support and ensure a standardized approach for implementation of WBL schemes across Europe.

Active organizations with an interest in this field can also register on the work-basedlearning.eu website to create an international collaboration network, connecting entities willing to strengthen the implementation of international mobility schemes and to provide more support for such opportunities in the vocational sector.
